FitClub — Fitness Mobile App
React Native app sharing a Laravel backend with the existing web tracker. Apple HealthKit + Google Fit integration, offline-first workout tracking, social feed.
The problem they were solving
Client had 40K users on a web fitness tracker but losing them to Strava and Nike Run Club because no mobile app existed. Apple Health integration was table stakes. Every month of delay = lost users.
How I approached it
React Native app sharing the Laravel backend with the web. Apple HealthKit + Google Fit integration. Social feed with workout sharing and reactions. Offline-first workout tracking that syncs when connection returns. TestFlight beta with 400 users before public launch.
