The problem they were solving
Growing restaurant chain with 12 locations running on Square POS + Excel + Google Sheets. Managers spending 3 hours daily reconciling orders vs inventory. Staff scheduling done in a WhatsApp group. Chaos scaling with growth.
How I approached it
Laravel API + Vue admin + React Native staff app. Square POS integration for order sync. Real-time inventory decrement on every order. Shift scheduling with self-service swap flow. Trained 4 managers, then rolled out location by location.

Overview
Serve Hospitality Group had 12 restaurants across 3 cities with separate systems for POS, inventory, and staff scheduling. They needed a unified platform to run everything.
The build
Laravel monolith with Vue.js dashboard, real-time updates via Pusher between kitchen and front-of-house, integrated with Stripe Terminal for card payments and Twilio for SMS order alerts.
